                                                                              Skills Test
On Friday we had a skills test in the Centre of Excellence. Four teams from each county were there from Connacht. Four people got to play and there was one sub. The starting four were Darren, Conor, Senan and Darragh, David was the sub. The drills included kick passing to your teammates in a square while you also had to catch the ball inside the square. The second drill was soloing with both feet in between the cones. It was also counted on time. The third drill was shooting with both feet. you also had to do it as fast as you could. We watched the other teams doing it. We went home and then came back. We had to go upstairs for the presentation. First was the kick passing drill. A team from Curry in Sligo won it. Next was soloing drill Naomh Padraig won with a time of 42 seconds. Next was the shooting drill. Eastern Gaels won this. We went up for our photograph and medal. We were overwhelmed with our performance. We enjoyed the experience and we would recommend it to others.

                                                                            Scrúdú Scileanna
Ar an Aoine chuamar go dtí ‘Centre of Excellence’. Bhí scrúdú scileanna ar siúl. Bhí Conor,Senan, Darragh, David agus Darren ar fhoireann ‘Gael an Oirthir’. Ar an gcéad scrúdú rinneamar ‘passing’. Thug Conor cic don liathróid agus rug Darragh air. Ansin thug Darragh cic don liathróid. Thug Darren cic agus rug Senan air agus chaith Senan é. Thug Senan cic don liathróid agus chaith Conor é. Thugamar cic don liathróid lenár gcos chlé agus lenár gcos dheis. Sa dara scíl bhíomar ag tógáil cúilín. D’úsáideamar ár gcos chlé agus ár gcos dheis. Bhíomar go hiontach. Bhuamar an triú scrúdú scil. Fuaireamar triú áit sa Chomórtas Chonnacht. Bhaineamar sult as an lae agus fuair gach duine bonn freisin.
