 Maths Games 2016
For Maths Week we played fun games with senior infants 1st and 2nd class. We played games with cards,Jenga and board games involving maths. Some people liked board games and some preferred card games. They were practising addition and subtraction. We enjoyed it a lot.

Name Maths
We are learning how Maths is used in everyday life. This is why we did angles in Art.
An angle is where 2 lines meet. We drew our names using a ruler and  we measured the angles with a protractor. We labelled them on our drawing.                                                             By Darragh and Matthew

We went into groups and had to find out the answers to lots of Maths questions. We were going around the school and answering questions that Miss O’Brien had asked us. In one question we had to find out how many windows were in the school and find the percentage that were at the front of the building. In another question we had to find different shapes e.g. Pentagons, Scalene triangles and different 3-d shapes.
There were about ten questions on each page. Some of them were hard and others were not too hard. We enjoyed it. It was fun doing different Maths outside.                                       By Alannah H and Alannah M.
