Worms at Work

6/3/2015

We were leaning about the earthworm recently. We learned about the vital work they do to help keep the soil nourished . We decided to head out into the school garden and get digging. After much searching , we found two worms! We took them inside and made them a comfortable home in the classroom. Their accomodation for the week: a wormery created by our class. And their payment: An insight into the wriggly habits of these amazing creatures. We've recorded our investigation in the form of a presentation so you can all have a look ( if you're not too squeamish!)
