The boys and girls planted sunflower seeds, and are really enjoying caring for them and watching their plants grow. In order to test what seeds need to grow, the children planted a seed in a pot without soil, another in a pot that was placed in a mini-fridge (no heat), and a seed which will not be given any water. One last seed was planted and placed in a dark cupboard in the classroom (no light). They hope to see how these seeds will compare to the seeds they have planted and are taking care of every day.
