Scheme of Work for Second Class May 4th - May 8th

Hello all,
We hope you are all keeping well and hopefully have been enjoying the fine weather. Please find attached the next scheme of work for Second class. As before, please only complete the areas that you are able to and this is only meant as a guide.

We have been enjoying looking at your work on seesaw and hope you like using it! Only the four tasks marked on the schedule need to be uploaded (if you can) but please feel free to send on other work if you would like to share it or if you have something of interest to show us. The IXL website is fantastic for practising your maths skills and we can see some great work is going on there - well done! Some more activities for this week are assigned in the site and they appear highlighted in yellow (in both maths and english).

Should you be interested, Edco is making it possible for parents to download the intereactive Bua na Cainte website. It is free only while schools are closed. However you will need a laptop and fast broadband as it is a huge file. If you decide to download it, the user name is "trial" and the password is "trial". You can download it at www.edco.ie/bua. We are using Bua na Cainte 2 and the content is different to the book. It is organised by topic and the children are familiar with seeing it in the classroom. It is not necessary to download but should you like additional support in Gaeilge it may be of interest.

We am also attaching the Communion prayers that the children will need to know before making their Communion. Next Saturday would have been a special day for Second class but we can look forward to another day later in the year. We hope you are all safe and well and able to help out at home when your work is completed - it's always nice to help others.
For next week if anything crops up please email mkennedy.bekanns@gmail.com.
Thank you.
